This superb seafront apartment block in the heart of St Anne’s on Sea, Lancashire had 12 garage doors that were suffering from corrosion and discolouration.
The residents approached us after receiving a quotation for new GRP garage doors at a cost of over £2,000 per door.
Their concerns were that the garage door company that had provided this quotation informed them that they could not offer a guarantee because of the sea front location and the exposure to salt laden rain and stormy winds.
We offered them a complete makeover with a 10 year guarantee at a cost of £395.00 per door.
The residents and management committee are absolutely delighted with the project and even asked us to recover two timber side hinged utility doors to maintain the cosmetic transformation to the whole complex.
Some residents were initially concerned about our product withstanding high winds but after viewing some of our makeovers on Cypress Point (which have been in situ over 4 years) they proceeded with the installation in September.
After being exposed to a number of storms since the installation including storms Abigail and Desmond the residents remain delighted with the durability of the product.
